Dan's Story
LMBT# 19716
As a first-generation Nicaraguan American, I have always felt a strong connection to the healing traditions of my Indigenous culture. Growing up, I was inspired by the incredible skills of Sobaderos—traditional Central American healers—who practiced manual therapy. At the age of 12, I began experimenting with these techniques on family and friends, which laid the foundation for my passion for healing. In 2008, I formalized my training at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy.
Now, as a licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, I blend these traditional healing practices with modern therapeutic methods. I believe in combining the scientific principles of massage therapy with the timeless wisdom of Central American Sobada. Each year, I strive to deepen my knowledge of human anatomy, massage techniques, and indigenous folk medicine, ensuring that my treatments are both effective and culturally enriching.
At Tainica Therapeutics, I am dedicated to providing a holistic, personalized healing experience that honors both modern science and traditional wisdom. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, postural issues, or are simply looking to enhance your well-being, I am here to support you on your journey toward balance, healing, and vitality.

Education and Specialties
2008
Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (now known as Southeastern Institute)
During my massage therapy certification, I trained at a school that specialized in Neuromuscular therapy. The instructors were incredibly influential, focusing deeply on muscle and fascia anatomy as well as proper body mechanics. This comprehensive approach provided me with a strong foundation, setting me up for a rewarding and lasting career in massage therapy.
Specialty
Muscle Anatomy, Neuromuscular Massage, and Fascia Release Therapy.
In 2021, I began an in-depth study of Structural Integration and Deep Fascia Release. Through hands-on human anatomy dissections and continued education focused on Myofascial Release, I gained a deeper understanding of the body’s connective tissues. I was able to integrate these principles into my practice, witnessing firsthand the significant improvements in my clients' health and well-being.
